By now, you’ve hopefully seen footage of Damian Lillard’s incredible game-winner on Tuesday night to end Oklahoma City’s season and win the first-round series for the Blazers. With the game tied 115-115 and the shot clock off, Lillard dribbled out the clock and then drilled a step-back three from 37 feet to stun the crowd and cause NBA Twitter to explode.
As Lillard was sizing up George and running the clock down, you may not have noticed Blazers guard Seth Curry standing in the corner appearing to exchange words with players on the Thunder bench.
There’s no way to tell what Curry is actually saying to the Thunder bench while he waited for Lillard to launch his shot, but Curry’s immediate reaction to the made shot was to coldly turn and stare at Thunder players while the rest of the arena was erupting.
The Blazers move on to play the winner of the Nuggets-Spurs series. Denver currently leads 3-2 after blowing out the Spurs on Tuesday. Game 6 is set for Thursday in San Antonio.
