See Piers Morgan attempting Dutch accent on GMB following Eurovision win

Piers Morgan has been showing off his Dutch "accent" on Good Morning Britain.

On the ITV show on Monday morning, the host was having a discussion about the Eurovision contest, which was won by The Netherlands and Duncan Laurence with the song Arcade.

And he said: "Couldn't be happier for the Dutch, well done."

However, he went on to say 'well done' in a questionable Dutch accent, while his co-presenter Susanna Reid spoke the language expertly.

The brief exchange, which you can watch in the video above, was also shared on social media, where people commented on the banter.

One Twitter user said: "Piers . . . You novice . . Well done Susanna."

Another wrote: " Piers sounds like the Swedish chef from 'The Muppet Show' ."

Eurovision 2019 saw a total of 26 countries battling it out for glory on Saturday but Duncan Laurence was crowned the winner after a dramatic public vote.

The United Kingdom's Michael Rice finished last.
