Now that Jennifer Lopez has “El Anillo” she is sharing gorgeous photos from Alex Rodriguez’s proposal last week.
“3.9.19,” Lopez, 49, posted to Instagram Tuesday, commemorating the day of their engagement.
The actress/singer shared photos from when her hubby-to-be popped the question. In the first, Lopez looks down at an open ring box as Rodriguez, on one knee, smiles widely. In the next picture, she places her right hand over her mouth as the former baseball player places the giant diamond on her finger. The last two images shared show the lovebirds kissing in celebration of the romantic moment.
Lopez and Rodriguez broke news of their engagement on social media Saturday.
“she said yes,” he captioned a close-up of the ring on his fiancee’s finger posted on Instagram. Lopez shared the same photo, with eight emoji hearts as the caption.
The two, who made their red carpet debut at 2017 Met Gala, celebrated two years in February, exchanging sweet social media posts.
“Every time I think I have you pegged, you surprise me in the most wonderful ways,” Lopez wrote, “reminding me how blessed I am to have found you now in this moment at this time… our time…”
“We are meant to be, and how much you mean to me cannot be put into words,” Rodriguez gushed.
Lopez and Rodriguez sparked engagement rumors in October after the mother of two was spotted sporting a gigantic diamond ring during the World Series.
Rodriguez previously hinted at proposing to Lopez during a May 2018 interview on “The Tonight Show,” saying that “when it happens” Jimmy Fallon will be the first person to know.
This will be Lopez’s fourth time down the aisle. She was previously married to Ojani Noa (1997 to 1998), then-dancer Cris Judd (2001 to 2003) and singer Marc Anthony (2004 to 2014), with whom she shares 11-year-old twins, Maximilian “Max” David and Emme Maribel.
Rodriguez was married to Cynthia Scurtis from 2002 to 2008. They have two daughters: Natasha Alexander, 14, and Ella Alexander, 10.
