See Newcastle's 2019 Hoppings from the air in daytime and at night

As the last of the stalls and ride vans sit dotted about Newcastle's Town Moor, you can see the giant funfair in all its glory in these photographs.

The Hoppings closed on Newcastle's Town Moor on Saturday night and by Sunday the first of the trucks were on their way to their next event.

These photographs by Owen Humpreys of the Press Association show the full extent of the rides, stalls, caravans, lorries, cars and motors that make up the huge annual event.

This year visitors were granted warm days as well as wet ones, as you can see in the gallery below.
