Murderer Ross Miller was caught on CCTV with his victim in the hours before he brutally killed him - with no hint of the savagery that was to come.
Footage shows Brandon Lee with Miller together in a vehicle outside a garage in South Shields.
Driver Mr Lee and passenger Miller are seen to get out at various stages.

Police released the footage after Miller was convicted of murdering Mr Lee, 24, of Jarrow, after a trial at Newcastle Crown Court.
He left him with more than 100 injuries, including 60 inflicted with a bladed weapon, such as a machete.
Miller, 23, of Victoria Road, South Shields, is facing a life sentence for murdering Mr Lee at Miller's flat in May.
