Friends fans were able to watch the moment that actor Matt LeBlanc actually dislocated his shoulder during filming as the cast rewatched the excruciating scene.
As part of the much-anticipated Friends reunion - that saw actors Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer reflect on the show - producers decided to air the on-screen accident.
In the clip, Matt - who plays Joey - awkwardly tripped and faceplanted into the sofa while actually managing to dislocate his shoulder in the process.
The cast all squirmed as they watched the moment back, which saw Matt cradle his shoulder before shouting 'ow!' while off screen.

The actual incident took part in season three's The One Where No One's Ready and producers were then forced to write his injury into the actual script. Joey wore a sling in the following episodes as he recovered from his dislocated shoulder.
Reflecting on the episode, Matt revealed that the cast would often huddle outside the door before the scene started but they weren't able to do it during that particular scene.
"There was one thing that we did every show that we didn't do that night before we started. We didn't do it that night."
Lisa Kudrow then added that as a result, the cast always vowed to do 'the huddle' so that no other accidents happened.
She added: "We were sort of like, 'We're taking too long, the audience has been waiting - let's just go.'"
"It was sort of early on and then, after that, we'd be like, 'Do we need to do the huddle, and [Matt LeBlanc] would be like, 'Yeah, 'cause I don't want anything else falling off.'"

The painful scene was part of HBO's much-anticipated one-off reunion show. During the episode, the cast reflected on some of their most iconic moments that occurred in Friends and also welcomed several A-list friends to the show.
The one-off episode has been repeatedly delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic and was originally meant to be released in May 2020. Thankfully, one year on, fans have been finally able to celebrate the iconic show alongside the six stars - and some special guests.
Elsewhere in the special, the cast made several jaw-dropping revelations including the claim that David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston had a crush on each other while filming.

It was also revealed that the sitcom aired in over 220 territories and was TV’s No 1. comedy for six seasons. It had an average of 25 million viewers a week and a whopping 52 million people watched the final episode.
