See it: Titans RB Derrick Henry featured on ‘Stay Home’ billboard

Social distancing and staying home has been a point of emphasis by experts during the coronavirus outbreak, and Tennessee Titans players and coaches have done their part to help spread that message.

Titans head coach Mike Vrabel, quarterback Ryan Tannehill and safety Kevin Byard have all recorded Public Service Announcements of sorts to encourage people to stay home to help slow down the spread of COVID-19.

The latest attempt to spread the word comes in the form of a “Stay Home” billboard featuring none other than Titans running back, Derrick Henry.

I’m going to lend my advice here and say that Nashville should put up another billboard saying “Practice Social Distancing” with Henry stiff-arming Baltimore Ravens safety, Earl Thomas.

That never gets old.

On top of recording PSAs and billboards, the Titans donated $50,000 to the United Way of Greater Nashville Response Fund to help those impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Cornerback Malcolm Butler donated funds to both Nashville and his home town of Vicksburg, Mississippi, also.

Nissan Stadium was one of more than 150 buildings across the United States to light up blue on Thursday in order to honor the workers on the front lines of the battle with the coronavirus.
