See it: Titans’ Mike Vrabel wearing Derrick Henry-themed mask

With masks being the new normal right now, people have found a way to express themselves with the new facial accessory, including Tennessee Titans head coach, Mike Vrabel.

When the Titans landed in Denver on Sunday ahead of their Week 1 matchup with the Broncos on Monday Night Football, Vrabel was spotted wearing a mask that read “Please give the ball to Derrick Henry” on it.

Check it out.

The Titans did plenty of that in 2019. Henry not only led the NFL in carries with 303, he also won a rushing title with 1,540 yards and was tied for the most rushing touchdowns with 16. Bear in mind, he did all of that in 15 games.

The Alabama product and former Heisman Trophy winner followed up an impressive regular season by dominating in the playoffs and carrying the Titans to a pair of upset playoff wins.

Henry was rewarded for his efforts with a four-year, $50 million contract extension, which at the time made him the fifth-highest-paid running back in the NFL based on annual average.

Nothing should change for Tennessee’s offense in 2020. The Titans will once again sport a run-heavy attack that sets up quarterback Ryan Tannehill and the passing game, particularly through play action.

The Titans, a team with Super Bowl aspirations coming into this season, will begin their quest on Monday night at Empower Field at Mile High.
