See it: Odell Beckham escapes New York in latest Nike Football ad

Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. managed to get one more dig in at the New York Giants courtesy of Nike Football, which released a new ad on social media on Thursday that featured OBJ bursting out of the Statue of Liberty before jetting off to Cleveland.

The ad also featured current Giants running back Saquon Barkley as a superhero and Chicago Bears edge rusher Khalil Mack, who transforms out of bear form.

The ad itself is brilliantly done, but there’s no denying the undertones of Beckham’s appearance.

Beckham and Barkley remain friends behind the scenes, but OBJ’s disdain for the Giants and general manager Dave Gettleman is obvious to anyone paying attention. He feels personally insulted by the trade and has let his feelings be known.

Meanwhile, Barkley has promised to press forward without Beckham, and feels the offense will perform well in his absence.

“At the end of the day, it is a team game,” Barkley said, via NJ Advance Media. “It is going to take 11 men on offense to go out there and win games. There is going to be days where I am the guy that is having the day or ‘Shep (Sterling Shepard) is going to have the day, or (Golden) Tate will have that day. We just have to find a way to get better every single day, grow with each other, improve with each other and when the opportunity comes, capitalize on it.”
