See it: Lawrence Taylor, Harry Carson share a rare emotional moment

Retired New York Giants linebacker and Pro Football Hall of Famer, Lawrence Taylor, is widely considered one of the most dominant and fearsome men to every step foot onto an NFL field.

Throughout the years, we’ve seen everything from L.T. — from dominance on the field to his speech in Canton and from his wild leadership on the sideline to his crumbling personal life following retirement.

The one thing we’ve never seen from L.T. however, is sadness or regret.

That will change this week when NFL Network airs its newest series called “NFL 100 Roundtables” beginning Friday night at 10:00 p.m.

The pilot episode will feature some of the league’s all-time great linebackers including Ray Lewis, Mike Singletary, Harry Carson and the aforementioned Taylor. And in the newly released trailer, L.T. and Carson share an extremely rare and emotional moment when discussing something that hasn’t been brought up in decades.

All right, who’s cutting onions in here?

Watching an immortal man become a mortal man in moments adds a new layer to all things L.T. It will be a unique opportunity for Giants fans and NFL fans alike to see a side of Taylor never before seen — a truly human side to the baddest man to ever play the game.

Tune in or set your DVRs. This will be a can’t miss!
