See it: Giants fan invades Eagles training camp

Anyone who is everyone knows that fans in Philadelphia are about as hostile as they come — particularly Eagles fans. After all, they have made a name for themselves punching police horses, pelting Santa Claus with snowballs and throwing batteries at players and coaches, just to name a few things.

Needless to say, showing up in Philly as an opposing fan is an immediate risk to your personal health and well-being, but that didn’t stop one brave New York Giants fan over the weekend.

YouTube personality Roneffect did the unthinkable — he walked down the stairs to the first row, turned to face the thousands of Eagles fans in attendance and took off his black sweater to reveal a fresh bright blue Eli Manning jersey.

Surprisingly, among the thousands who were loudly booing, you could hear a few Eagles fans telling Ron how much they respect what he did.

As Ron was live streaming, Twitter also lit up.

Kudos to Ron. He wanted a viral moment and he got it in a playfully competitive way. He didn’t need to do anything drastic, immature or otherwise stupid — he just needed to show up on Philly wearing blue. Well done.
