See inside the stunning £3m manor which inspired Charlotte Brontë up for sale

This amazing Derbyshire home features a helicopter pad, 25 acres of land and it could be yours for just £3million.

Moorseats Hall is a building drenched in history and dates back to the 1300s.

The mansion has even had famous house guests including Charlotte Brontë, who used it as an inspiration for Jane Eyre. She named the heroine of the novel after the owners of the hall and a Moor House features prominently in the book.

While Moorseats Hall was owned by Thomas Eyre, Charlotte Brontë visited with lifelong friend Ellen Nussey.

The manor has six bedrooms, five baths and an individual flat for staff who you may wish to employ to work in the home.

It would be inadvisable to use this flat to lock away your spouse, as Rochester does in the novel.

A spokesperson for the estate agents Eadon Lockwood & Riddle said: "The home, whilst large (including a staff flat), is very liveable and has a homely feel. It has been extensively remodelled by the present owners who have extended the accommodation.

"Whilst being remote, it is just above the much vaunted Hathersage Village with its train station with regular services to Manchester and Sheffield city centres. Battersea helipad is less than an hour in an AW109."

If six bedrooms aren't enough, the manor also includes a swimming pool and a tennis court as well as a spot on the land to park your helicopter.

There's also plenty of space to explore the massive 25 acres of land that will be all yours if you decide to purchase this home.
