See inside Marks & Spencer's massive new warehouse with this superb time-lapse drone footage

Incredible drone footage of Marks & Spencer's new warehouse in Castle Donington has been released.

The new warehouse is set to be 900,000 sq ft and will be split into three chambers.

The three chambers are split into three chambers with a mix of automated and manual operations processing around two million single items a week during its peak periods, reports LeicestershireLive.

The site already employs 1,400 people, including 400 staff who have been taken on this year.

The seasonal staff will help pick and pack online orders and prepare deliveries for customers across the UK.

The warehouse can hold up to 15 million items and has 9 miles of racks for hanging clothes.

It has more than 11 miles of conveyor belts and is powered with the help of 25 miles of solar panels.

The mezzanine, which opened last week was installed to help meet growing online demand.

Since the site opened in 2013, a lot of the seasonal workers who have passed through its doors have taken on permanent roles.
