See if you recognise the voices of these men after cash was stolen from elderly West Bridgford couple

Police want to know if you recognise these two men or the voices heard in this CCTV clip, after cash was stolen from a couple.

Two men wearing face coverings entered the elderly couple's home on Chantrey Road in West Bridgford at around 7.45pm on Wednesday, October 9.

The offenders stole a 'significant' quantity of cash before leaving the property.

They left the scene in an Audi A4 or A6 estate.

Detective Inspector Steve Wragg, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "This incident has left these repeat burglary victims very distressed.

"We're urging anyone who recognises the men in the footage or from the voices that can be heard in the clip to please get in touch with us.

"We're also appealing for any witnesses, anyone who has any information about this incident or who saw anything suspicious to get in contact."

He added: "Unfortunately these unscrupulous people tend to prey on the most vulnerable people.

"We’re urging residents to make sure your front and back doors and windows are locked at all times, even when you’re at home.

"We’d also urge anyone with elderly neighbours or relatives to pass this information onto them as well, and to keep an eye out for them.

"Stay vigilant when answering your door to unknown callers. We’d always recommend using a spy hole or door chain and, if you’re not expecting someone, don’t open the door.

"If you see someone approaching a property and are suspicious about it, please report this to us on 101 and where possible, note any descriptive details."

Anyone with an information about this incident is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 857 of 9 October 2019, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
