With millions of people staying at home to help curb the spread of coronavirus, many people are getting to know their significant other a little better during all the downtime. Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokoumpo just learned something basketball-related about his girlfriend, Mariah Riddlesprigger, that he was both stunned and dismayed to hear.
During a Q&A session with fans on a live stream, Antetokounmpo asked his girlfriend “aside from the Bucks, what is your favorite team.” She revealed she was a Lakers fan growing up, and Giannis was shook.”
Riddlesprigger was born in Fresno, California, and her dad played college basketball at Fresno State. It makes sense that she’d claim the Lakers as her team as a kid – especially considering she grew up during the Shaq and Kobe golden age.
