See footage of the back alley brawl that ended in the murder of promising teenage boxer Connor Brown

This is the footage of the brawl in a back alley which ended with a promising boxer being savagely stabbed to death.

CCTV from Sunderland city centre captures the lead up to the senseless violence that cost teenager Connor Brown his life.

The video shows Leighton Barrass, armed with a knife, and Ally Gordon, involved in a fracas in the moments before the murder.

The clip has been edited so it cuts off before the fatal blows were struck.

Further footage shows Barrass and Gordon walking towards the scene a few minutes before the stabbing, which happened on February 24.

Jurors at Newcastle Crown Court were also played clips of Barrass showing the knife off in a pub and club in the hours before using it to kill Connor.

Barrass, 20, of Hartside Square, Sunderland was convicted of murder and Gordon, 20, of Polmuir Road, Plains Farm,  Sunderland , was cleared of murder and found guilty of manslaughter.

Both will be sentenced tomorrow.
