2015 NFL MVP Cam Newtown is still available as a free agent, and he’s been training hard as he awaits an opportunity from an NFL team. Newton, now 31, was released by the Panthers on March 24th, and has since been passed over by several quarterback-needy teams.
At this stage, Newton may potentially be forced to wait for a injury to a starter before he gets a chance to be a QB1 again, but he wants teams to know that he’s still putting in the hours in training. On Saturday, Newton shared video of a workout with Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., and both players are looking sharp.
