See all the goals from Ajax’s stunning 4-1 win over Real Madrid

Ajax stunned the soccer world on Tuesday when they beat Real Madrid 4-1 (!) in the second leg of their Champions League tie away from home. Real Madrid entered the game with a 2-1 aggregate lead after taking care of business away from home against the Dutch side, and most thought they would do the same back in Madrid. It didn’t work out that way, and Real Madrid’s Champions League is over, as Ajax advanced with a 5-3 aggregate win.

I mean, Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos intentionally got himself a yellow card in the first leg so he would be suspended for this match, and thus wouldn’t be suspended later in the tournament. That … did not work out for the Madrid side.

Here are all the goals and highlights from the match.

7′ Ajax 1 – 0 Real Madrid: Hakim Ziyech

18′ Ajax 2 – 0 Real Madrid: David Neres

28′ Lucas Vazquez injured, Gareth Bale substitution

33′ Vinicius Jr. injured, Marco Asensio substitution

62′ Ajax 3 – 0 Real Madrid: Dusan Tadic

(This goal was reviewed extensively after the ball appeared to go out of bounds at midfield before the Ajax attack was built, but after four minutes of VAR review, they ruled the goal stood.)

70′ Ajax 3 – 1 Real Madrid: Marco Asensio

72′ Ajax 4 – 1 Real Madrid: Lasse Schone
