Richmond broke a 37-year premiership drought by trouncing the Adelaide Crows by 48 points at the MCG.
There was a lot to enjoy for Tigers fans who were treated to a brilliant grand final display — and can enjoy the magic moments all over again right here.
The first quarter was comfortably the tightest, with Adelaide starting the brighter and kicking four goals to two.
Rory Sloane was dominant and the Tigers were yet to settle. But things would soon change …
From there, the Tigers took over. They kept the Crows goalless in the second term and started hitting the scoreboard themselves, taking a slight lead into the long break.
Could they keep this up after the break?
Yep! They sure could! The third quarter sealed the flag for Richmond as the yellow and black pressure became too much for the Crows to handle.
It was to be Richmond's day and Richmond's year.
The last quarter was party time for Richmond, banging on more goals and seeing the victory out in style.
