A man has been arrested after a security guard was viciously attacked with pepper spray following an incident at a Luas stop in south Dublin.
The frightening attack took place at the Suir Road Luas stop on Monday afternoon.
A man in his 20s has been arrested after the assault on the security staffer.
Gardai say investigations into the incident are ongoing.
They told Dublin Live: "Gardai are investigating an assault incident that occurred at a Luas Stop in the Suir Road area of Dublin 12 on 22/02/2021 at approximately 1.40pm.
"It is reported that a member of security staff was allegedly assaulted by a man with an incapacitant spray.
"Gardaí have arrested a man, aged in his 20s, in relation to this incident.
"Investigations are ongoing."
