A security guard has been attacked and robbed while delivering money to a bank in Liverpool.
Emergency services were called to Lloyds Bank, on Broadway, at around 10.15am this morning (Friday, October 29) to reports of a robbery.
When on scene they found a G4S worker had been assaulted by a thug who made off with a cash box.

The suspect then made off from the scene, in Norris Green, in a white Transit van.
He is described as white male, dressed in black, with a black face covering.
The van has since been found abandoned on Lowerson Road, by detectives.
Merseyside police put up a cordon around the bank and forensic officers were on scene conducting enquiries.
Chief Inspector Steve Hardy said: "Targeting someone going about their business in the community is disgraceful and we are determined to find those responsible and bring them to justice.
"We are in the extremely early stages of this investigation and we would ask anyone who was in the Walton area this morning who saw anything or anyone suspicious to come forward.
"Similarly, if you were driving in the area earlier this morning and have dashcam footage then please review it and if you see anything let us know. Any information you hold could be vital to our investigation.
