A section of a busy Cowcaddens road has been closed as emergency water works take place.
Access for Phoenix Road eastbound traffic to Dobbie’s Loan has been blocked as the urgent Scottish Water works take place.
There is currently limited information about the cause of the works, however, the closure is expected to remain in place until 11.59pm on Friday (February 14).
A diversion is in place via Garscube Road northbound – Sawmillfield Street – Edington Street and Corn Street and drivers are warned to expect delays in the area.
A statement from Glasgow City Council reads: "Due to emergency Scottish Water works there is currently no access for Phoenix Road eastbound traffic to the A804/Dobbie’s Loan.
"It is expected that these works will last until 23:59 Friday 14 February 2020.
"Further updates will be issued if more information becomes available."
