Section of Clydeside Expressway reduced to one lane tonight for a week

The Clydeside Expressway is to be reduced to one lane for a week to facilitate repairs.

Glasgow City Council warn delays are likely, with restrictions coming into force at 8pm this evening until 8pm on Tuesday September 15.

The road will be reduced to one lane, westbound, between Finnieston Street and Beith Street / Partick Link Road.

Glasgow City Council's Traffic Control and Management team (TRAFFCOM) advised: "In order to repair the vehicle restraint system, the A814 Clydeside Expressway will be reduced to one lane in the westbound direction between Finnieston Street and Beith Street / Partick Link Road from Wednesday 9 September 2020 (20:00hrs) until Tuesday 15 September 2020 (20:00hrs).

"Delays can be expected."
