BBC pundit Matt Jarvis has hailed Patrick Bamford for his performances for Leeds United in the Premier League this season, as he continues to catch the eye.
The former Chelsea forward struck a hat-trick in Friday's 3-0 victory over Aston Villa to take his tally in the top-flight this season to six goals in as many games.
Those displays have helped fire Leeds to sixth in the standings at this early stage of the campaign, providing a platform for Marcelo Bielsa's side to build upon.
Jarvis, who played with Bamford during his time with Norwich City, has stated he was always aware of his ability, but believes the confidence Bielsa has shown in him has allowed the forward to hit new heights.
"What can you say, I played with Patrick at Norwich and you could always tell he's got a fantastic ability to score goals," he told BBC Radio 5 Live.
"His left foot is fantastic, he's a good size, he's good in the air, he can finish with his right foot. When he was at Norwich, it was confidence for him and I think you can see now he's playing week in, week out and the manager backs him.
"There was a lot of press about him and can he cope in the Premier League, everyone was saying no, but the manager backed him and he started the season and he's been outstanding.
"Now, he's full of energy, he's running the channels. There's not many centre-forwards who want to run the channels, he's spinning, he's putting crosses in, he's chasing full-backs down.
"He's doing everything and he's got that composure to finish. As I said, he's an outstanding finisher and he's just riding that wave at the minute and long may it continue for him."
