Secret Cinema is bringing a Stranger Things experience to London

A Stranger Things themed Secret Cinema event is coming to London later this year.

The immersive event specialists will transform a hidden location in the capital into the Upside Down as part of the experience, which takes place from November 13.

Expect an 80s nostalgia-fest, as the event organisers team up with Netflix to transports guests to Hawkins High School.

It’s the first time Secret Cinema have staged a party based on a TV series, and the news comes ahead of the third season of the show, which is set to arrive on the streaming giant in July.

Fans will have the opportunity to write their own Stranger Things stories, with a host of new characters and locations being created for the event series.

Secret Cinema said: “This revolutionary new concept will give audiences more time to explore its playground of performance, with deeper immersion, participation and storylines.

“The fresh format of TV demands a radical new set of ideas for how Secret Cinema presents and screens spectacular, fan favourite storylines and scenes from the Duffer Brothers modern masterpiece.”

Tickets for Stranger Things Secret Cinema go on general sale at 12pm on May 28. Prices start at £49. Saturday matinee tickets are also available for £35. They can be purchased here.

Secret Cinema’s 2018 event saw guests enjoy Blade Runner and Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet screenings, marking their biggest series to date. A series of James Bond events are also due to take place later this year.
