Although visiting an arcade can be great fun, most people know all too well how difficult it can be to win one of the huge toys from the claw machines. Most families have dealt with a child's disappointment after watching the toy fall back into the machine over an over, and many players end up entering so many coins that they could have just bought the prize in the first place.
However an arcade worker has shared some of their tricks on Tik Tok, which they say will help boost your chances of getting a prize. There are some clever ways to improve your chances on the claw machine, and this hack involves a 'double tapping' technique, reports The Daily Mirror.
Demonstrating the hack in a video, the arcade employee, who goes by the username @arcadefriends, said: "Some people don't know the secret about double tapping the claw machine." The employee then told viewers to watch their hands as they double tapped the grab button.

The first tap was to lower the claw down onto the pink teddy bear in the machine, and then the employee tapped again when the claw was almost around the teddy bear's head.
The employee explained that "this gives the claw a strong grip and keeps it from rotating too far". As shown in the video, they were able to use this trick to pick up the stuffed bear and drop it into the prize area.
The video has been viewed almost 380,000 times and, for many people watching the video, winning a teddy was a beautiful sight, as the machines are known for being difficult. Many followers left taking study notes for their next trip to the arcade and one person commented: "BEST TIP! Doesn't guarantee a win, but definitely ups your chances!"
Another added: "That's perfect timing as well!"
