There is set to be a second UK Emergency Alert sent to mobile devices today (April 25). However, only select people will receive the notification and it has not been confirmed what time it will be delivered.
It comes after the initial test for the system was carried out on Sunday afternoon (April 23). Every mobile phone in the UK was supposed to be notified with a message and vibrate for 10 seconds.
However, as reported by Chronicle Live, not everyone received the message. Meanwhile, others got notified earlier or later than the planned 3pm delivery time.

The test was supposed to send out a 10-second alarm as well as an accompanying message notification to 4G and 5G customers. The Government announced that they will run a second test today, but detailed how 'most mobile phones and tablets' will not receive the alert.
The alert should read: "This is a mobile network operator test of the UK Emergency Alerts service. You do not need to take any action. To find out more, visit gov.uk/alerts."
The alert system is designed to notify people should an emergency situation arise locally. For instance, during a flooding or wildfire.
