Second man in court charged with murder after fatal shooting of Blantyre dad Graham Williamson

A second man has appeared in court charged with murder after a young dad was shot in Blantyre.

Graham "Kermit" Williamson was shot outside his home in Caithness Street at around 5pm on August 17.

The 26-year-old made his way to the street where he was helped by members of the public until an ambulance arrived.

Medics raced him to the University Hospital in Wishaw but died a short time later.

James Baillie has now appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Thursday charged with murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.

The 24-year-old, of Hamilton, made no plea and was remanded in custody.

It comes after Derek Felvus, 23, of Hamilton, previously appeared the town's sheriff court also charged with murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice. 

He also made no plea and was remanded in custody.
