Second man charged over Margaret River assault and abduction

An 18-year-old Gosnells man has been charged over the alleged abduction and serious assault of a man in Margaret River in July.

The victim, 20, was attacked by four men in Ned Higgins Lane, before being bundled into the back seat of his own car and driven to the outskirts of town.

He was brutally assaulted with metal poles at the bush location, before being left with his vehicle without any keys.

The 18-year-old man is facing a string of charges and is due to appear in the Perth Children's Court today, as he was 17 at the time of the incident.

Another man was charged in August but police say they are still looking for the two other men involved.
