Second man charged after double murder saw bodies left across north London and Hertfordshire

A second man has been charged by police investigating a double murder which saw two bodies found across the north of the capital.

One body was found in the boot of a car in Barnet, north London, and another corpse was found in Elstree, Hertfordshire, around five miles away.

Besnik Berisha, 42, of Friern Barnet was charged on Christmas Day with murder of the 30-year-old man found in Barnet and the 35-year-old found in Hertfordshire.

He is due to appear at Willesden Magistrates Court on Boxing day.

Kaziku Tuwisana, 31, was also charged with two counts of murder on Monday after being arrested on December 19.

He appeared at Brent Magistrates’ Court on Monday December 23, and will be before a judge at Inner London Crown Court on Friday December 27.

A statement from the Metropolitan Police said: “A fast-moving operation led by officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command continues.”
