Second man arrested in connection with fatal shooting of Blantyre dad Graham Williamson

A second man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a young Scots dad in Lanarkshire.

Graham "Kermit" Williamson was allegedly gunned down at home in Caithness Street, Blantyre at around 5pm on August 17.

The 26-year-old was raced to the University Hospital in Wishaw but died a short time later.

Officers from Police Scotland have now arrested a 24-year-old male suspect in connection with his death.

Police Scotland later confirmed othe man has now been charged in connection with the incident.

He is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Thursday.

The 24-year-old is the second man arrested in connection with the death.

Derek Felvus, 23, of Hamilton, was charged with his murder at Hamilton Sheriff Court.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We can confirm that a 24-year-old man has today, Wednesday 2 September, 2020 been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Graham Williamson in Caithness Street, Blantyre which happened on Monday, 17 August, 2020."
