Second man arrested after alleged robbery at pharmacy in Bathgate town centre

West Lothian Police have confirmed that a second male has been arrested in connection with an alleged robbery which took place at a Lloyds Pharmacy in West Lothian.

Edinburgh Live previously reported how a 25-year-old male had been charged after the incident which took place on King Street, Bathgate.

West Lothian Police have confirmed that they have also arrested a 43-year-old man in connection to the robbery.

West Lothian Police said: "A second man has been arrested and charged following a report of a robbery at a pharmacy on King Street, Bathgate, on Saturday, 28 March, 2020.

"The 43-year-old man is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Saturday, 11 April, 2020.

"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal. The public are thanked for their assistance throughout the enquiry."
