Sweden's second largest university has closed for the day after an anonymous threat on social media raised fears of a mass shooting.
Lund University, in southwest Sweden, said the threat had come from a user of the anonymous app Jodel.
A statement released on the university's website read: "Due to an anonymous threat to the university and its students via the app Jodel and which the police regards very seriously, the university will be closed on Monday for all students and staff at all campuses."
The Local reported that a Jodel had user posted: "Don't go to the University tomorrow if you are in Lund. Check the news tomorrow morning."
The post was later deleted.
The message is similar to another posted before the 1 October shootings at Umpqua Community College in Oregon, when a gunman killed 10 people and injured seven others.
It was reported that the shooter warned he would carry out the attack on 4chan.
Swedish police launched an investigation into the ominous message after several students raised their concerns on Sunday.
"We see no direct threat... We haven't had any indications that anything concrete is going to happen," a police spokesperson told local media.
Jodel is a social media app which allows users to post anonymous messages which users in the surrounding area can read.
