A second-hand designer handbag with holes in it is up for grabs for almost £9000.
The posh leather Louis Vuitton bag has a secret removable pouch which aims to keep belongings safe.
But the cut-outs across the middle of the bag raised eyebrows with shoppers on website FarFetch.com, who labelled it a “pickpocket’s dream”.
The bag has been put up for sale on the site by a previous owner – with a bumper £8780 price tag.
Designed by Comme Des Garcons’ founder Rei Kawakubo six years ago for Vuitton’s Iconoclasts collection, it is in the fashion house’s trademark dark brown leather with its distinctive monogram.
However, “burned” holes on its sides are believed to make it impossible to stash a smartphone, lipstick and a purse inside.
One shopper posted: “Throw in your phone and purse and watch them disappear. Plus you will look like you tried some DIY bag-fixing and it went horribly wrong.”
FarFetch says the bag “has led a previous life and may tell its story through minor imperfections”.
