Declan Devine's men were set to take on Liam Buckley's side in the FAI Cup quarter-final on Friday, which will now be played on Wednesday 25 November at 7.30pm.

Sligo Rovers confirmed the news on Twitter this morning, Derry City are yet to make a statement on the postponement and Covid-19 outbreak.

The game was originally fixed for November 1, but was also postponed after the entire Derry squad went into isolation until November 6 after a number of positive tests.

In the other semi-final, Athlone Town will face either Bohemians or Dundalk.
