A second night of applause is set to take place on the UK’s doorsteps to celebrate key workers at the frontline of the coronavirus crisis.
Thousands of Scots took to their windows, gardens and balconies to thank NHS staff who are working flat out to prevent the spread of Covid-19 last week.
The 'Clap for our Carers' event is now set to be extended to others who are still working to keep the country moving amid the lockdown.
Key workers such as delivery drivers, posties, shop workers and bin collectors will all be given a round of applause at 8pm on Thursday night.

Writing on the Clap for our Carers website, creator Annemarie Plas said: “We will still be clapping but this time we will add everyone that is helping our world to keep turning.
"All who are out so we can stay in.
“So thank you; shop workers, delivery men/women for food, goods and mail, mailman/women, nurses teachers, bin collectors, veterinarians, cleaners etc.
"Without you we are nowhere.”
