Second man arrested after girl suffers 'devastating injuries' in Liverpool shooting
A second man has been arrested following the shooting of a schoolgirl at a bus stop in Toxteth.
The 15-year-old girl was rushed into hospital after the shooting at 5pm on Tuesday, March 1.
Detective Chief Superintendent Mark Kameen said: "We were called at about 5.10pm yesterday evening to a person having been shot at a bus stop as a result of a number of individuals on up to four bikes. We believe those could have been electric bikes.

"At this moment in time, we believe shots were fired from one or more people on those bikes."

Roof exploded as fire tore through house near train line
A fire in an empty house caused travel disruption during morning rush hour.
Fire crews from Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service were called to Briardale Road in Liverpool shortly before 7am today following reports of a fire.
One resident said: "We could smell something but we only realised it was a fire after our neighbour knocked on the door and said the house was on fire.
"We've got rabbits out the back and we had to bring them in because of the fear of smoke inhalation."

Woman sexually assaulted in 'traumatic' Liverpool city centre attack

Detectives from Merseyside Police have issued an image following a sexual assault in Liverpool City Centre.
At around 1.30am on January 23 a woman sitting on steps at the junction of Rodney Street and Hardman Street was assaulted by a man.
Detectives believe that the man in the image could have information to assist with enquires.
