Secluded pop-up beer garden opens in Bristol

Bristol is home to plenty of pubs and restaurants perfect for enjoying a bite to eat and a few drinks in the great outdoors.

We've been inundated with options since outside hospitality returned on April 12, whether it's top notch beer gardens or pop-up attractions like Breaking Bread.

Yesterday it was also announced that there will be a new venue launching at the Lloyds Amphitheatre on Friday complete with dozens of tables, deckchairs and hammocks.

But with so many people keen to embrace al fresco at the moment, you can never have too many places to visit - and this weekend saw the launch of yet another brilliant spot.

East Bristol Social Club in All Hallows Road, Easton, is headed up by popular pub The Plough, which is situated just around the corner.

The secluded space features covered and uncovered seating and offers a range of top notch beers and food.

To start with, food will be supplied by restaurant pop-up Chicken Shack, serving chicken and seitan burgers and buffalo wings.

Each week the decks of the venue will be graced by different DJs spinning a range of party-starting genres, with an ASBO Disco takeover lined up this Friday (April 30).

And not only does the suntrap garden provide another great spot for us to enjoy this summer, it's also raising money for a range of BS5 causes and local community centres.

Speaking before the launch of the venue, The Plough said: "Join us on weekends for the next month at our wonderful food and beer offerings in the community gardens of All Hallows and Baggator.

"Top nosh and liquid refreshment brought you by the crew behind The Plough Inn and Chicken Shack.

"Entry is always free, we will be asking for optional donations on the door raising much needed funds for the community causes at All Hallows and Baggator."

East Bristol Social Club is only open on Fridays and Saturdays. It is located at 13 All Hallows Road, Easton, Bristol BS5 0HH, behind All Hallows Hall.
