SEC Network’s Paul Finebaum continues to love him some Ohio State

Sometimes things beat you over the head enough that you just can’t deny it anymore. That’s seems to be what’s happened with Ohio State and the SEC’s linchpin radio talk show host Paul Finebaum.

After all the college football games each week, Finebaum puts out his opinion rankings of the college football teams and he’s had Ohio State on top now for a few weeks. I’ll say that slowly now so that you can let it all sink in. The guy who wrote the book on beating his chest over the SEC on the national airwaves has a Big Ten team as the best college football team in the land.

And no, it’s not April, but Halloween so it’s not an April Fool’s joke either. Just below the Buckeyes, he has LSU, Alabama, Clemson, and another Big Ten team Penn State to round out the top five.

See, there can be some objectivity coming from the deep South? Next thing you know unsweetened tea will be ranked ahead of sweet tea. Okay, maybe we shouldn’t go that far.
