The SEC Nation television crew has announced that they will be in Athens, Georgia next week. The Week 7 SEC East matchup features the 2-3 South Carolina Gamecocks at the 5-0 Georgia Bulldogs.
The Dawgs advanced the 2-0 in SEC East play after a 43-14 win in Knoxville Saturday night against Tennessee, while the Gamecocks sit at 1-1 in SEC East play following a nice 24-7 win over Kentucky.
Carolina doesn’t have that bad of losses, losing to Alabama, North Carolina and Missouri. They put up a fight against Alabama, putting up 23 points and North Carolina has had some impressive games this season, especially against the reigning champs Clemson. The Dawgs will need focus on not playing down to their level to secure the win, something they fell victim to in the first half of the Tennessee game.
Georgia’s main opponent to worry about this season is Florida, who are 2-0 in the SEC East and are coming off an impressive 24-13 win against Auburn. Florida did however lose their quarterback Kyle Trask who suffered a leg injury, but did return to the game.
