SEC launches new Twitter account for officiating

SEC Media Days officially kicked off Monday in Hoover, Alabama with the annual luncheon before players and coaches took to the podiums for the week.

Earlier in the day, it was announced that 2020 SEC Media Days will be held in Atlanta and 2021 SEC Media Days in Nashville.

However, a more under the radar change was the creation of an SEC Officiating account on Twitter. The conference will now post replays and explanations to calls through its newest social media account during the season, similar to how the NFL does it with @NFLOfficiating.

We can’t wait to see what fans will say come football season to the person running this account for the conference.

Although, the ‘Bama Privilege’ takes are always fun to track when the Crimson Tide seem to get the officials’ benefit of doubt.
