Max Verstappen makes X-rated Sebastian Vettel remark after British Grand Prix crash

Max Verstappen exclaimed "What the f***!" after Sebastian Vettel rear ended him during a thrilling British Grand Prix.

Red Bull star Verstappen came into the Silverstone showdown on the back of a dramatic Austrian Grand Prix, in which he leapfrogged Ferrari's Charles Leclerc with a controversial late-rave manoeuvre to win the race.

After waiting three hours for the stewards' decision a fortnight ago, Verstappen kept his victory - and he was involved in another enthralling tussle with his Ferrari rival on Sunday.

But it was Leclerc's Ferrari team-mate Vettel who was involved in the race-changing incident when the pair were fighting for third place during the latter stages of the race.

Verstappen moved ahead of Vettel and then appeared to slam on the brakes as he approached a corner on Lap 38 of 52.

His German rival had nowhere to go and smashed into the back of the Red Bull star.

The pair both went flying into the gravel before returning to the action but it ruined both of their races as Leclerc lucked in and moved into third place.

Verstappen was straight on his radio and exclaimed: "What the f***!"

Red Bull responded with an update on the damage sustained: "We're as happy as we can be with the car, Max."

The Dutchman responded: "How can the floor be OK?" to which his team replied: "There's nothing we can do about the bodywork.
