Sebastian Chabal at the Hong Kong Sevens video: Why fearsome former Six Nations star did this

French hard man Sebastian Chabal is known for many things.

His long hair, his big beard, his uncompromising, no-nonsense style of play but not necessarily for his singing.

It seems we've been doing him a disservice for years.

Les Bleus' former gainline warrior earned plaudits around the world for being one of the most fearsome ball carriers in the game.

The verdict on Gavin Henson's legacy: one of Welsh rugby's greatest players or a wasted talent?

But, now retired, he's turned up at the Hong Kong Sevens, dressed as a caveman, singing 'I would walk 500 miles' by The Proclaimers.

The reason? Chabal is the face of an advertising campaign for Marriott Bonvoy, who are sponsoring the event.

The wider campaign features a series of films playing on the fact "not everyone loves the Sevens as much as rugby legend Chabal".

One of the videos includes Chabal singing the Proclaimers classic, which has become a Sevens anthem at the tournament over the years.
