The Seahawks have announced their initial practice squad signings ahead of the 2020 regular season. Seattle formed its squad after trimming the roster down to the mandated 53-man limit on Saturday afternoon.

The following players have been signed to the Seahawks practice squad on Sunday:

  • Tackle Tommy Champion
  • Quarterback Danny Etling
  • Wide receiver Aaron Fuller
  • Linebacker Shaquem Griffin
  • Wide receiver Penny Hart
  • Defensive back Gavin Heslop
  • Defensive tackle Cedrick Lattimore
  • Wide receiver Lance Lenoir
  • Tight end Tyler Mabry
  • Defensive back Ryan Neal
  • Defensive back Jayson Stanley
  • Wide receiver Stephen Sullivan
  • Wide receiver Cody Thompson
  • Tackle Chad Wheeler

Seattle now has two open spots it can fill on the practice squad.

In addition, the Seahawks have also claimed former Titans linebacker D’Andre Walker off of waivers via Tennessee. Defensive back Linden Stephens was waived to make room on Seattle’s active 53-man roster.
