Seahawks players arrive for start of training camp

Today marks the start of training camp for Seattle Seahawks veterans. Rookies reported a week early this season to become better acclimated and are now joined by the rest of the squad.

The first actual team practice will take place on Thursday, but the players will be busy day one with weigh-ins, medical checks and meetings.

The team’s social media department was this morning to capture the arrival of the players at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton.

First on the scene, not surprisingly, was quarterback Russell Wilson.

Other members of the team were quick to follow . . . in cars and even on bikes.

The Seahawks will be holding 11 practices open to the public at the VMAC this year and a practice game scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 3 at Pop Keeney Stadium in Bothell.
