Seattle Seahawks 2019 free agency tracker

March 11 marks the opening of the NFL’s free agent negotiating window with the new league year set to kick off March 13. Below is a live, running tracker of moves impacting the Seattle Seahawks.

Lost to Vikings: Defensive tackle Shamar Stephen

ESPN’s Dan Graziano is reporting Stephen is headed back to Minnesota on a three-year deal. Seattle had signed him last offseason as a free agent along with fellow defensive lineman Tom Johnson.

Lost to Bears: Running back Mike Davis

Running back Mike Davis will be signing with the Chicago Bears on a two-year, $6 million contract with a max value of $7 million. Rashaad Penny is expected to assume Davis’ duties this season.

Lost to Lions: Cornerback Justin Coleman

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting the Lions are planning to sign Coleman to a four-year, $36 million contract, making him the NFL’s highest-paid nickel. Seattle’s re-signing of King gives the Seahawks depth at the position.

Re-signed to Seahawks: Defensive back Akeem King

On March 8, the Seahawks re-signed their first restricted free agent of the offseason, coming to terms with defensive back Akeem King on a one-year, $1.4 million dollar contract.
