Seattle’s live seahawk escaped during ‘TNF’ and landed on an unsuspecting fan’s head

If you go to a football game, you are probably not expecting an actual seahawk to land on your head in the middle of it.

That’s what one unfortunate Seattle Seahawks fan had to deal with during Thursday Night Football. Before kickoff between the Los Angeles Rams and the Seahawks, Seattle’s live bird mascot named Taima — who flies out of the team’s home tunnel before games — escaped and began to fly around Lumen Field.

Instead of heading immediately to handler David Knutson to head off like usual, she took a detour… right onto this unsuspecting fan’s head in the middle of the crowd!

What a scene! And no, this does not look comfortable at all, but at least the fan just kind of accepts his fate instead of trying to shoo the bird away, possibly causing more danger to himself in the process.

Definitely not a sight you see at a football game. NFL fans, upon seeing the clip which aired at the end of the first quarter of Thursday’s game, rushed to Twitter to discuss the accidental flight.
