Former Nottingham Forest manager Chris Hughton has been linked with a return to management with Cardiff City, but Bluebirds fans haven’t taken the news well.
The 62-year-old was sacked by Forest after just under a year in charge, following a disastrous start to the new season.
Hughton is now in the frame for a return to management with Cardiff, after they axed Mick McCarthy.
An experienced manager, Hughton’s coaching career has seen him take the reins at Newcastle United, Birmingham City, Norwich City, Brighton & Hove Albion and most recently Forest.
With promotions from the Championship with both Newcastle and Brighton, Hughton on paper would seem like a decent choice for any club looking to bounce back and make a return to the top-flight.
