It’s not long until Season 12 of Apex Legends begins, and a new cinematic trailer is here to celebrate the ensuing carnage.
On Thursday, Respawn Entertainment formally introduced us to Mad Maggie, the latest hero coming to Apex Legends in Season 12. What the studio left out, however, is that she unequivocally lives up to the name — biting some guy’s face off for taunting her just a bit. Maggie also knows several other heroes once she’s on Olympus, specifically with Fuse, who, at least from what the trailer suggests, did her wrong at some point.
Season 12 of Apex Legends isn’t out until Feb. 8, 2022, but you can already watch the launch trailer below. A high-quality YouTube mirror is here as well.

We don’t know all of what’s coming in Season 12, though the trailer probably hints at upcoming changes. That’s typically the case with Apex Legends seasons, after all. It looks like the Olympus map will be all twisted up by the enormous device Maggie activities, which is kind of what happens when you set off a bunch of explosions. We’ll find out closer to launch, anyway.
Hopefully, by the time Season 12 launches, we’ll hear more about those PS5 and Xbox Series X|S enhancements.
