UPDATE: Pedro Tavares has now been found
Detectives have launched an urgent search to find a missing Knowle man who disappeared this morning (Monday, June 29).
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said they are concerned for Pedro Tavares' welfare.
They have urged residents to dial 999 immediately if they spot him.
The 61-year-old was last seen at his home in the Knowle area at around 10.20am.
A force spokesperson said: "He’s black, approximately 5ft 7ins tall with grey hair.
"He was wearing white/cream trousers, a white T-shirt believed to have a cartoon on the front, a white jacket, a white/ grey flat cap and white trainers.
"If you see him, please call 999 and tell the call handler you’re phoning in relation to log 312 of today."
